CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale, is an independant, voluntary organisation campaigning for real ale, cider and perry, community pubs and consumer rights in the UK.

The organisation was set up in 1971 and has grown to become the largest consumer group in Europe with over 145,000 members.

CAMRA supports and promotes well run pubs and believes they play a critical social role in our national culture. As well as campaigning for better Government support for pubs and brewers, CAMRA aims to encourage more people to try one of the 5,000 real ales that are produced across Britain.

Organisationally the Greater London CAMRA Region consists of fourteen branches and a number of other groups such as the Cider Group, Young Members etc. We are the South East London Branch of CAMRA and cover most places with a SE postcode. In addition to this photostream we also have a website at plus Twitter and Facebook accounts. Our beer festival this year was held at Dulwich Hamlet FC, Dog Kennel Hill, SE22 (
