Importing an image into Ultra Fractal is very easy to do by following the steps below:

Open the Big Brew Julia FORMULA (found in tma2.ufm in the Public formulas folder).

To import your image go to the OUTSIDE formula tab, click on the Browse button and choose the Image option from the Standard.ucl formulas.

Then locate the image you want to use by clicking on the Open Image tab (this looks like an open folder).

Once you've imported your image you need to go to the LOCATION tab to centre the image and change the magnification if you wish.

Ok – you've now imported your image and this is where the fun starts!

Go to the MAPPING tab - there are many options in the here you can choose from to manipulate your imported image. For this example I've kept it simple and have used the Glass Hemisphere and Lake mapping tools which can be found in the Standard.uxf folder. Just play around with the parameters in these 2 filters until you are happy with the globe size and water level.

Finally, in this example I added another layer to bring out the colour by using the Soft Light option.

This is another example of image import, this time using the jml.ufm formula 'Snazzy J'

This is a very simple image import - only the spider!
