I take the floor (20) - Tomo a palavra (20)

Tuesday February 19, 2008 at 03:29PM

Sevilla, bridge over river Guadalquivir
Sevilla, bridge over river Gua…

My friends

neither every motionless

is silent

nor the night

solitary

while we watch the shooting stars

and hear the most crystalline

waters.

Lisboa, Bridge 25th April
Lisboa, Bridge 25th April

Meus amigos

nem toda a quietude

é silêncio

nem a noite

solidão

enquanto vemos estrelas cadentes

e ouvimos as mais cristalinas

águas.

ah Sevilla! where it must be spring-like already! I remember well the dark polish of the big river under the night sky. The river in turn remembers the big ships full of Inca gold ... and before that the trickling fountains of its Moorish gardens. Delightful words stirring good memories, Armando!
