fucking commercials

Are commercials not rampant like that where you are? every commercial in the US is based on the way one looks and acts along with what you have. and you are absolutely correct with the slogan change.

Commercials are the reason, i stopped nearly complete watching tv.

oh my god! i think i went into shock. that's a real commercial! first i thought it might be a spoof. mow the lawn?! no, i'm too pissed to write more. teaching young girls that pubic hair is untidy?! now that's just disgusting.

Television is a device that permits people who haven't anything to do to watch people who can't do anything.

Look at any commerical: visual appeal, lies, and irrelevancies - nothing more.

Had a similar situation once. I wrote the company an e-mail saying I don't approve what they say because of a concrete sexist or stupid ad. That's as much as you can probably do. First it will provide a vent for releasing your anger and they won't stop unless they hear from people that it upsets them. They will write you back some stupid response which usually you can throw to the trash bin without reading. I bothered to reply but it wasn't worth it. Important is that you get your message across, don't discuss, just want to tell them that it's not okay what they're doing or saying.

I agree with that...commercials in magazins often drive me crazy, too...(model) beauty is the golden calf we dance around nowadays... :-(
