Etta James (Jamesette Hawkins) recorded "Wallflower (Roll With Me Henry)" (Johnny Otis - Hank Ballard - Etta James) in 1955 with responses by Richard "Louie, Louie" Berry. The release topped the R&B charts. Etta received a Grammy Hall of Fame Award for this recording decades later. Etta is also rightfully a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Blues Hall of Fame.

With the title changed to "Dance With Me Henry" the lady who "whitewashed" lots of cover singles, Georgia Gibbs (Freda Lipschitz) hit the top of the charts in the same year. It was Garry Moore who coined "Her Nibbs, Miss Georgia Gibbs". Georgia performed with both Tommy Dorsey and Artie Shaw's big bands.
