Gus ("Banjo Joe") Cannon's Jug Stompers (Noah Lewis and Hoses Woods) were first to record the 1929 composition "Walk Right In" (Cannon). Gus played the tune even when he turned 100 years.
The Rooftop Singers (Erik Darling, Bill Svanoe and Lynne Taylor) hit number one in1963.
