- February 25, 2020 - 5 commentsOur visit to castle espie wet lands Newtownards some years ago Peter Scott was the son of Antarctic explorer Captain Scott who, in his dying letter, urged Peter’s mother to “make the boy interested in natural history”.so he created the wetlands here in N.Ireland I added some music to my slide show of photos i took there..for all to enjoy!Give it a visit you will not be disappointed:) James Galway & Phil Coulter - Lament for the Wild Geese
