Third World vs. Germany : 1-0

Isn't that weired:

So, I booked a flight to Ecuador - third world country - jungle - poor people etc, you know the associations.
That in mind I was telling people more or less not to expect anthing of me regarding communication etc.

The first thing to see when I came to my friends here is that they have broadband internet access.

WTF ?

My Hometown is something like 7 Miles from the famous Hannover Expo area where they hold the well-known CeBIT computer fairs every year and we do NOT have broadband internet access there. Yes, nothing! Next to where they show the tech-future every year!!

And now this.

Third World?

In the middle of Germany, for sure!
