geotagging equipment

hossa, does anybody have any experience with a d80 and a geotagging device? maybe the sony cs-1 or gisteq phototrackr? preferably mac software? i was about to import cs-1 from japan, but there were only maps from japan included and i wasn't really shure about non sony camera photos....so i didn't. i'm waiting for your comments and hints.....

It is only a GPS-Datalogger that records your track. After your phototour you can merge the recorded data with your photos by using the time stamp. The clock in your cam must exactly set like in your GPS-unit. The software is only for PC. For a mac you need some (very good) freeware. This way of geotagging works perfectly. But the sony device has no SIRF-chipset. It is not so powerful under bad conditions like standing under trees or something else.

wich device are you talking about? can i use the sony cl-1 logger with my nikon using osx freeware? wich gps-logger yould you recommend for my equipment?
are there any loggers with sirf-chipset that would work?
