Xianggang (aka Hongkong)

Saturday July 25, 2009 at 12:34PM

I like Xianggang (aka Hongkong), I like more Shanghai (and that's why I live here...), but HK is also nice. Different than other Chinese cities and with a great night life.
I went there again last week. I'm publishing my last photos from this place here, enjoy them.

How do you think Chinese mainland people think? The only diference in HK is that people speak more English and Cantonese, not so much Mandarin as the people in mainland China.
Everything else is pretty much the same.

I think China has some problems to solve, but I also recognize how far China came and did in 60 years. And how they preserved the culture and history of China.
Even though almost all world, spread all over the most idiotic and absurd ideas about this country during this 60 years.
About Tian'anmen Square in 1989, it was clearly another attempt of some forces to end with the People's Republic of China like they did with Soviet Union 2 years later.
The students were used, the real responsibles for that "protest" weren't even there.
China has issues to solve, no doubt about that. But I hope that this country don't try to solve them like USA wants. I trust China, I don't trust USA.

:) Yes, I know Xinhua and Asia Times. My view of this country don't come from any of those, I read them sometimes though.

Yeah, I'm an extremist. I discuss real things in real way. I don't eat every f$%^@#* s$%^ the media puts in front of you.
This is a reply to Jose Havran's comment.
