Against Censorship: Introducing Daniele Luttazzi - Money for dope (video)

Sunday December 9, 2007 at 04:20AM

Luttazzi was censored several times; the last one a few hours ago by La7 - an italian television that received him some weeks ago after five years of absence due to the "Berlusconi censorship". Even La7 now has thrown him away. La7 is the only national-range private television not owned by Berlusconi. (In Italy, must remember that public television is, since always and by law, under the direct control of politicians). [this youtube copy is damaged, the one i have on my home page is better. i've posted this cause wasn't able to post my copy here and for share it better]

He was literally thrown out from his studio while he was finishing to work on this evening episode, journalistic investigation about the Pope....................
(Obviously the episode was not sent.)

All the episodes of his show "Decameron" (followed on tv at 23:40 each saturday night by 2.700.000 of viewers) previously avalaible on La7.it are now removed. They are removing also the youtube copies!!!
Some of them still avalaible, for now, here.

I'm becoming more and more pessimist, we had so many elections, so many parties (included the ones that spoil their chances before getting born...........)

I don't know. Maybe we need to find the right kind of revolution.

Thank you for your attention, Mad!

"I lowered my expetations right away... what we are doing here, we have no idea" Daniele Luttazzi (it's just the most common mood today in Italy...)

Its a viscious robbery!!! Free speach and expression should be a certanty..

mr.driver / sorry i'm italian... :( replies:
Yes they do! but I think this time its not that the point, they let him say anything with the most free speach possible, until the day he was trying to do a normal journalistic enquiry about the Pope. I'm pretty sure that if they would have let him do it, he wouldn't have used his usal free speech, that would not be necessary at all...
