Zurueck zur Natur?

Calderwood Lake Panorama

 

Letztes Jahr waren wir am Calderwood Lake, und haben dort die schoene Aussicht bewundert.

 

Ich befuerchte, dass es dort in ein paar Jahren so aussehen koennte, wie auf den Fotos von der anderen Seite der Smoky Mountains, wo jeder seine eigene Blockhuette mit "unverbaubarer Aussicht auf die Natur" haben will!

Unberuehrte Natur

 

Last year we were admiring the unspoiled nature at Calderwood Lake (picture above).

I am afraid, soon it will look like on the other side of the National Park, where everyone wants to have his own log cabin, with a prime view of the mountains!

 

What in the world ...?

Wir fahren da ziemlich oft vorbei, so ca. alle 14 Tage. Und jedesmal sieht es so aus, als ob wieder ein paar neue Haeuser dazu gekommen sind ...

Ich wette, naechstes Jahr steht da unten im Tal ein WalMart.

Ich frage mich auch immer wieder: WER kauft sowas???

Soweit ich weiss, ist das eine Ferienwohnanlage mit individuellen Hausbesitzern, die ihre Haeuser von dem Bauherrn der Anlage gekauft haben, um sie naechteweise an Touris zu vermieten. Wir wohnen auch in so einer Anlage, aber die sieht total anders aus.

Von oben sieht es ja wahrscheinlich anders aus. Da sieht man es nicht. Auch nicht schlimmer als Hotelburgen auf Mallorca.

Mein Ding wäre es aber auch nicht.

Auf Mallorca bin ich nie gewesen, aber was ich so von "Ballermann" gehoert habe, koennte in etwa hinkommen.

Und so wie hier sah das von oben aus (bevor es total zugebaut war).
