Am I blind and did not just see this option before or is this new?
I can upload pics from my PC to ipernity using a Picasa function. 
Did not find any help about it by searching the ipernity help...
Well... i found a button (french!) in my German ipernity GUI...
yupp: curiosity killed the cat...
I pressed that button, followed my instincts, pressed a few more buttons and well...
it works. I just tested to upload a pic from Picasa to ipernity - works like a charm.

Well... "KLICK THAT THINGO, INGO!" a dark voice in my head said to me...
Yupp (2) more french words appear. I guess I have to klick a button to approve the installation.
OK. A pop-up appears, asking me to approve the installation
OK
Ipernity asks to start Picasa and to import a Button. Sounds great!
JA means YES!!
Kewl!! Picasa starts up and asks me if I want to add a button.
I klick on "Hinzufügen" - yes I want to add that button! OK
Now I have to login to ipernity. Why? I use Firefox, but the default browser is IE.
OK. Credentials please...
Don't forget to click on "keep me signed in" (Auf diesem Computer angemeldet bleiben).
I am disappointed. It does not work - I cannot upload. The screen is hung up:
What to do now? Restart Picasa!!
After the restart of Picasa you select a photo and klick on the ipernity logo at the bottom of your screen.
Another dialog opens up and asks you some familiar questions about settings, tags and album.
That's it. When the upload is done the default browser pops up and shows your ipernity account.

Die Größe ist durch das Bild, welches ich in Picasa auswähle, bestimmt.
So wie dieses vorliegt, wird es zu ip hochgeladen.
Ich hab das jetzt nur mit meinem Account probiert.
Ob es mit einem Zweit-Account auch geht: keine Ahnung.

Und ab und zu lade ich Fotos fuer unsere Wohnanlage oder bei meiner Mutter hoch - das sind anderere Accounts, und das kann ich im Uploadr per einfachem Klick aendern.
Ich gaube, jeder hat seine eigenen Vorzuege.

Bei mir fehlt irgendwas, das IHR als selbstverständlich voraussetzt---ich habe in den Tools kein Ipernity zur Verfügung.

Hast du die ersten Schritte vielleicht einfach nochmal wiederholt (Bilder 1-3)?
Benutzt du schon Picasa3.0? Sonst würde ich es einfach vorher mal updaten.

vorher noch ein paar Fragen
a) hat dein Browser eventuell einen Pop-Up-Blocker, der das Pop-Up (mein zweiter Screenshot in dieser Reihe) unterdrückt?
b) meinst du vielleicht die Upload-Seite von Ipernity?
DA habe ich nämlich den ominösen französischen Knopf gefunden.
Ich wollte eigentlich von Ipernity aus Fotos hochladen: ganz oben links: der erste Punkt.
Ich melde mich heute Abend noch mal, muss jetzt ins Hamsterrad...

Läppische Ursache war nicht der Blocker, den hatte ich vorsichtshalber schon rausgenommen.
Ich habe dein erstes Screenshot-Bild überhaupt nicht erkannt, da ich seit ewigen Zeiten den IperUpload nehme und völlig vergessen hatte, dass es da noch so ein "zu-Fuß-Uploadeteil" gibt....und ich suchte jetzt anhand der Beschreibung immer in Picasa (sic!) nach dem "Uploader", der mich natürlich völlig falsch leitet.
So, nu isses fertich.
