This is work in progress. I am trying to find information on photographer's rights in Europe, which I want to compile and summarise here. For now it is just a link dump in various languages :-)

Nachdem man doch ab und zu mal ein Bild ins Internet stellt oder sogar für weitere Verwertungen frei gibt, habe ich mal ein wenig gegoogelt, was man so beachten sollte. Auf law-blog.de gibt es eine ganz nette Zusammenfassung für Nicht-Juristen, was genau in Urheberrecht und Kunst-Gesetz zu beachten ist. Nachdem die Artikel untereinander nicht allzu sehr verlinkt sind, hier Links zu allen:

Serge: I just googled up what you need to know if you are publishing pictures. The linked blog describes and explains the relevant passages of german law, expecially the copyright law and the right on your own image (if you are on a picture). This should be also similar in other european countries, I will try to find some more about that and post it (in english). Sorry for posting only in german, but as it is specific about german law...

BTW: your german seems quite good :) A lot better than my french...

That would be great, if you can send me something about that. I bought a book now on german law about photography, but I fear I need some lawyer to translate it to a german I as well speak (being a physicist, my german seems different...)

Prima Informationen! Ich hatte schon einige Bedenken wegen Fotos, die ich auf einem Festival gemacht habe (siehe mein Album Pelekas Art Festival). Nach den oben gegebenen Informationen scheine ich aber auf der sicheren Seite zu sein, da es sich bei einem Festival natürlich um eine öffentliche Veranstaltung handelt.
