that sounds good, but was this here just a protest rally and we are going home now? don`t think so.

no, I'm staying @ home - here ;-)

It's not only about the filters but about everything else too.

Too late, not only because I have just deleted my censr AND my yahii-account. But that's not the reason why ... I agree with Carsten, it's not the filters alone ... and my home is here now, I like it very much.

Congrats, but this place is better. As soon as they have groups, far much better.

I guess flickr admin got late that they're wrong...
Many people just came here and will never go back, specially because this is so much better :)

Anyway it's nice to see that they're trying to put things back where they should always been :)

They did not turn it off at all. Just changed a bit the definition of what we can see and what we can't see. Still a lot out there what we can't see in Germany

Not the big deal! They have just turned of the filter for moderated photos. I will never trust that Y!-company in future. My PRO-account ends in October. At the end of October I will become a PRO here at ipernity!

It was not a moment too soon!!! -- They shouldn't even have thought of it in the first place.

Shame about the users in Korea, Hong Kong and Singapore, though. I wonder -- do those members even realize they can't turn SafeSearch off?

It's good that they at least try to do something. But that's not the point. There was a lot of passion for flickr and that is gone now. I don't want to delete my account, because I have so many friends there, who are going to stay, but I'm really getting comfortable here and I like it and I think, I will slowely move...
So, next time something happenes, I can press that button at flickr.

i think this communication desaster of flickr showed pretty well: they really don't care about their (german) customers - the sex-appeal of flickr is gone and this damage cannot be repaired - if a company gets too big and becomes sort of a monopoly, there is always a great danger of turning towards this kind of behavior - the way they partially drew back and how they communicated this are sure indications of a disease, which i cannot happily live with

Be happy. Now you´ve found a place where social networking is sooooo easy like 1-2-3 ;-)

I really did not like they way Flickr staff is handling this whole mess, not to mention that not a single word is being mentioned about the other countries involved...

I'm not sure yet what I'll do; I certainly like it here, the social networking is way nicer (and easy as 1-2-3... oops!)

They don't care much about all customers... Yesterday Stewart in one his posts mentioned that people who don't like it there can look for another place, how nice that is...
