Bookstore destroyed

Sunday July 5, 2009 at 04:41AM

Well if it was a synagogue or a "Jewish" institution of one sort or another that was attacked, vandalized, destroyed or desecrated the outrage would rightly be deafening. We would hear about how anti-semitism is on the rise and how Jews are threatened and attacked only because they are Jews. What is the reaction to this attack by Zionist thugs and terrorists--yes zionists are the first terrorists in th the Middle East and it does not matter if their leaders became prime ministers or other government officials.

What is the reaction of the French government and police? Would they decry this terrorist attack? Go after the JDL (Jewish Defense League) terrorist thugs? Or would they sweep it under the rug so as not to appear anti-semitic?

Paris bookstore attacked, books destroyed by Zionist fanatics of the "Jewish Defense League"

Early in the afternoon of Friday, July 3, a half dozen thugs, mostly masked, openly belonging to the Jewish Defense League, assaulted and vandalized the bookstore Résistances in the 17th arrondissement of Paris (4 Villa Compoint).

The bookstore includes a reading room offering free use of computers, plus a modest auditorium which often hosts well-attended conferences by authors. The day before, a conference was given there by Mahmoud Suleiman from the Palestinian village of Al-Masara on non-violent resistance to Israeli occupation.

Instead of burning books, the Zionist fanatics ruined them by drowning them in cooking oil. They also smashed the computers.

As usual, they escaped before the police arrived. So far this highly active group has enjoyed total impunity for its attacks on property and persons.

Thanks for this one. I posted it on my blog. The question is: Would the attackers be taken to justice if their organisation is already known?
I was not able to find the original news from AFP

This did not come from AFP but from an email fellow activists sent. I doubt it would be in any newspaper because this is a sensitive manner: it involves Zionist terrorist organizations and Jewish terrorists.

Thanks for the links. Yes I doubt very much that the perpetrators will be brought to justice not because they are unknown but for other reasons known to everyone: if you are an Arab or a Muslim and did something similar, immediately the terrorist label goes up but if you are with the JDL then you can get away with murder essentially.
