pituresync alternatives?

I would also love to see some usefull alternatives. PictureSync was OK, but far from good. The jUploader from Ipernity is just a crutch...
But it can't be that hard to write a usable client for that. Maybe we should bribe some Cocoa developer to write a new tool. I would even pay some bucks for a good tool....

picasa upload works fine but i wish there was something like the flickr uploader. this thing rocks

I also used picturesync as I upload to flickr and ipernity, but now it doesn't work anymore. I saw that the developer will look into it, when he gets a copy of Snow Leopard ?
I also haven't found a good alternative, I actually hate jUploader but I have to use it again.
Its sometimes not possible to upload some pictures as the drag and drop doesn't work. In Flickr Uploader just the preview doesn't work for those, I never found out what is wrong with them.
Did you also experience this?

no flickr uploadr works perfectly fine for me.
you can upload to ipernity using zips too, but.... :(

i realized that picasa doesnt let me choose an album or privacy settings anymore, could be a local problem here.

what is it about the ipernity uploader that is lacking? what are you looking ?

picasa works, yes, but it's not what i want.
it won't let me choose an album (anymore) when i upload to ipernity and privacy settings are disabled - and i dont want a second tool to manage / catalogue / save my pics.
i'm used to iPhoto.

maybe it's just something there
then because the iperuploader lets me do all of that

iperUpload works most times, it crashed a few times while testing (mac osx 10.6.1) and it didn't let me add files with special chars in filenames "|" etc... when you know that, it's okay

picasa doesn't let me choose privacy settings and albums. it feels pretty slow to me when uploading.

with iPhoto you can upload to flickr - but that is just basic with no real settings.

the flickr uploadr is one of the best tools i know - it looks good, feels good, doesn't crash or anything. It does what it's supposed to do.

with pictureSync it was possible to upload to multiple websites at once. I didn't use that so often but at least it was possible. the only way i know doing this now, that pictureSync doesn't work anymore is with pixelPipe via eMail.

anyway i think it's a subjective question, i like when apps and tools look and feel good.

PictureSync geht tatsächlich wieder. Danke an mr.misu ;-)
Aber trotzdem sollte sich das Ipernity mehr um solche Tools bemühen. Der sch... iperUploader geht bei mir gar nicht mehr und Upload über den Browser ist mit Safari auch irgendwie buggy manchmal.

Mr. Misu ist super! Und ich kann mich Maxheadroom nur anschliessen, geht mir genauso, wegen dem Ding hatte ich manchmal schon keine Lust mehr was hochzuladen und über den Browser ist auch buggy.
