Greasemonkey Scripts

Monday June 18, 2007 at 08:20AM

I used lots of GM scripts on Flickr. I'd like to have them on Ipernity too. Please, write in the comments if you know existing Ipernity scripts or if you want to help me translate them or if you have a script you'd want translated.

i'd like to have a tool / script to import the flickr-stuff with all the things as tags, titles and the structure with the sets. it took so much time to create it, as i did. that would make some things much easier .....

Roberto Ballerini - travelingpro replies:
It should be possible, but it will create a so big bandwidth consomption to create problems to Ipernity, I suppose.
There are tools outside that can make backup copies of your public Flickr shots and you can upload them to Ipernity using a zip (sorry: no comments, no tags, no sets).
I can study if it's possible to make something better, but if I was Ipernity staff, I'll make it: have you suggested it to Ipernity staff?

I contacted the team to know if there is an API to test. If there isn't an API it would be impossible, I think, to make something apart from uploading shots. If you need help, I can speak French too.

I just answered in my own blog post to you :D www.ipernity.com/blog/c.schurig/11612#comment32277

Short for the GM-scripts: you don't need an API for most of them but to understand the structure of a web page. And the pages here seem to be more complicated (and quite different in structure)... ;)

Hello everybody,
We are going to propose something this week. I don't know what but we'll work on it. Any help is greatly welcome.
Is there any GM hacker around ? please contact me !

Roberto Ballerini - travelingpro says:
No. I'm not a GM hacker, but I read something on GM scripts structure and I'm a former programmer. Carsten is really more experienced than me on GM scripts.

Hello again. Just to let you know the last release 1.3 of ipernity2Flickr is available

Carstenpro says:
OK, maybe you know already, but "my" graphing script is now available for Ipernity: www.ipernity.com/blog/c.schurig/12225

This was not too hard, but on the other hand it doesn't do very much.

Could you post a list of GM scripts you'd like to have? Maybe some others want them too and someone likes to adapt it. Or maybe even the programmers here are interested in integrating the functionality. Some things I did need a GM script on flickr for are integrated here (like better replies).
