Ok a little fun thing, limited to the first ten people who want to play (This time). Make 10 postcards how ever you like and send them, by snail mail to the other people in the group. They must all be the same and please share postal addresses privately through the messages. Post an image of the postcard in the group. Remember they can be as conventional or unconventional as you like, as long as they are postcards capable of being posted ! Postcards to be sent by the end of August !

Just pour s'amuser...et limité au dix premières personnes qui veulent jouer (cette fois). Fabriquer 10 cartes postales, comme vous vouler et les envoyer par la poste aux autres membres du groupe. Toutes les cartes doivent etres pareilles et partagez vos addresses en privé par les messages, pas dans le groupe. Les cartes peuvent etre conventionelles ou non, comme vous voulez, mais elle doivent etre capables d'etre mises à la poste ! Les cartes doivent etre à la poste à la find du moi d'aout !

I have decided to use only black and white until September. My camera is set to bw, no conversion from colour. I'm already finding it a challenge, but I love bw so much it's time to give it a decent try. It's much more of a surprise when I see the image...

J'ai décidée de ne prendre que des photos en noir et blanc jusqu'ant Septembre.Mon appareil est set en nb, je ne veux pas convertir dans le mac. C'est déjà difficile, mais j'adore le noir et blanc et c'est le moment de vraiment essayer...Et l'image me surprend beaucoup plus...

The Cheap Lino club

1) From unpretentious beginnings art may arrive, or not...

2) It doesn’t matter

3) 85% pure lino
15% mixed media, or not...

4) Size :

Approx no more than

6 5/8” x 4 3/8”

If mounted then maximun size of mount is

8 11/16” x 11 13/16” (approx)

5) Entry fee of 68 p guarantees a prize which is to be held by an independent arbiter (Dot) in a very interesting tin. The arbiter to choose the winners and select the prizes. The arbiter shall not neccessarily find it useful to use a ruler whilst measuring approximate sizes unless she feels it to be an absolute requirement.


6) The cheap lino club is designed to help the artists to break out of apathetic inertia and resurrect the long-lost craft of lino printmaking. Whilst also providing hours of cheap entertainment, harmless fun and challenging exhortations in order to promote creativity.

7) The winner is to wear a T-shirt bearing the club rules even if only written in biro.

8) Anything goes !!! (Within 6 5/8” x 4 3/8”)

What format does a movie need to be in to upload ? I've tried .mov and .avi but neither seems to work...Any help gratefully appreciated !

Je vais à Londres jusqu'à lundi prochain, et je n'aurais pas accés à l'internet, alors à bientôt ! Et juste quand je commence vraiment à aimer ipernity !!!

Je commence à getting very confused by having to ecrire everything dans les two languages. J'ai un headache très big. Alors who va nous make a hybrid langue ? We can ajouter ein bischen German y un poco of Spanish pour make it plus egalitarian et any autre langues here...What pensez-vous all ?

I thought why not try and see if anyone else wants to do it too ! Empty your pockets out on to the scanner and add your face to it and scan...explain the objects ! Close your eyes while scanning as it's strong light. Makes me look a bit like a corpse but I'd rather still see !

Uncore un petit groupe...celui-ci pour les photos tailles moyennes en n+b abstraites ! C'est simple ! Une photo par personne !

Here's another mini-group just for fun, pictures of rain, or the effects of rain ! One medium sized image per person ! It would be nice if you could also comment on your fellow participants' images ! ;-)

 

Voilà encore un mini-groupe juste pour s'amuser, des images de pluie ou les effets de pluie ! Une image de taille moyenne par personne ! Ca serait gentil aussi de peut-être commenter sur les images des autres participants !

 

Hier kommt ein weiterer Mini-Gruppen-Wettbewerb nur zum Spaß: Bilder vom Regen bzw. den Nachwirkungen vom Regen. Jeder darf ein Bild in der Größe Medium in diesem Blog-Eintrag hinzufügen. Es wäre nett, wenn ihr auch einen Kommentar bei dem vorhergehenden Teilnehmer(n) hinterlassen würdet. ;)

Je viens d'éffacer toutes mes photos sur Flickr...J'ai trouvée ca assez dur, mais c'est fait maintenant. Il y en a qu'une seule qui reste...For Freedom...

 

I've just deleted all my photos from Flickr. It was hard to do in a way as it's been such a large part of my life for such a long time...I've only got one image left which just says "For Freedom"...

Went for a cycle ride at the top of Cot Valley today...The greens were spectacular, the paths very narrow...All the plant life very rich.
