Well, I'm back from visiting friends and family. We had a lovely white Christmas, and I've eaten so much sweets and treats that my favorite studded leather teddy is too tight to wear. I hope everyone had a safe and happy weekend.

Holy Cow! It's colder than a seal's tit up here. 8 degrees F. on the front verandah this morning. Brrrrr. I'd better go and get a couple more cowboys from the bunkhouse to help keep me warm.

This is the day when I pause to remember the sacrifices that the men and women of our armed forces have made through the past two plus centuries to protect our freedom. A hearty Thank You and God Bless!
(It's also the day I get very paranoid about that guy in the Mitsubishi Lancer in the lane next to me. I'm afraid he might try to torpedo my Escalade.)
