[EN] Hello all! You can now fine-tune access to your originals, to your big (1024px) thumbnails and to your docs sharing (HTML) codes. Have a look at your Preferences / Originals & Exifs

[DE] Hallo zusammen! Sie können ab sofort den Zugriff auf Ihre großen (1024px) Vorschauen und Ihre Verteil-Codes (HTML) feiner einstellen. Schauen Sie Sich Ihre Einstellungen / Originale und Exif-Daten Seite an.

[FR] Bonjour tout le monde ! Vous pouvez désomais régler finement l'accès à vos originaux, aux grands formats (1024 pix) et aux codes (HTML) de partage de vos documents.
Rendez-vous dans vos Préférences / Originaux & Exifs

[NL] Hallo allemaal! Je kan nu de toegang verfijnen van jouw orginelen, grootformaat (1024pix) miniaturen en van de (HTML) codes van gedeelde documenten. Ga hiervoor naar jouw pagina Voorkeursinstellingen / Originelen & Exifs

Its a little tricky - You find this feature in the text blog, right site of Your pic: "View all sizes"!
Once You know it, its ok, but it took long time for myself ,hahaha :-)

It's a proposal I made long time ago: having three different layouts for the three formats, with the small ones changing position to accomodate the shape of the great one... (and it could be an Ipernity value added, because Flickr algorithm strongly weights in favour of landscape shots, as you can see on Expore...)

This is relevant but difficult to implement. There are so many sizes. We should make one layout by shape! We don't want to cut pictures and solutions with background are not very satisfying. Your mockups are welcome! (Please send them in Powerpoint or Photoshop format).

It's right there are a lot of possible sizes, but the commonest are 2:3, 3:2, 1:1 (and if you want 3:4 and 4:3); now you accept only one of these, but I think that provoding templates for his portrait version and for the square version would be a great step forward (a first step? I don't know...) and not particularly difficult to code (sure a minor modification comparing it to the change from the old template...)
I know it isn't a priority for a lot of us, but I think it could be a good marketing move to attract a lot of good photographers...

Just a thought, but in the meanwhile and until a really good solution is found, why not creating, lets say 3 or 4 homepages for different (landscsape/square/portrait and maybe the next popular) sizes and show them randomly ? For now it would be the fairest solution to all and should not be to complicated to code.
