norton internet security says "infected file" and deletes the downloaded file immediately and says as description "WS.Reputation.1"

Damn! This message is typical from Norton Antivirus. It means one of our install files has a "low reputation" and COULD be malicious. It doesn't say it is malicious.

We can ensure that ipernity Uploader is virus-free.

What we (ipernity) have to do is to ask Norton to put ipernity Uploader on their White List.

What you can do (in the mean time), is to remove the file from quarantine. Here's how to do:

Since this software is cross-platform, it also works on Linux. However the Linux version is not yet ready because making a Linux install package from ipernity Uploader is more difficult than for Windows or Mac OS.

The Linux version will be provided as soon as this install package is ready.

You're not really going to run a 64bit userland version of a file uploader, are you?
In that case, you might want to compile it yourself, anyway. However, if you really might upload enough data for 64bit to make any sense (~4GB or more) you'll most likely find out that your DSL line will force you to reconnect way before the 32bit limit ;)

So it will build on a Loonix machine from SC? I'll give it a shot...

Your “install package” will be ripped apart by users and will be repacked to be installed by one’s distribution’s package manager. Skip that and release the source :)

64 bit is not only about the RAM. And YES: I want to run a 64 bit file uploader, because ALL my tools are 64 bit and i don’t want to install any 32 bit libraries on my 64 bit machine.

Well, we Linux users may not have our own version of the uploader yet, but the Windows version does run perfectly fine under WINE (if you don't want to wait). Here it is running on my Fedora 16 KDE desktop. And yes, according to ipernity, it is released under the GPL license.

Thanks for the new Uploader, he works fine. Is there any chance that I can select all my folders for my new files?

Its only possible to select between the first 100 of my 215 folders.
