ipernity in German, Spanish, Italian and... Esperanto!

Friday October 12, 2007 at 08:57AM

Dear all,

We are very proud to announce that ipernity is now available in 4 new languages:

* Deutsch *

* español *

* italiano *

* esperanto *

This is the result of a fantastic work done by more than 50 volunteers. Congratulations to them.

4 new languages. 4 new doors to welcome more members and diversity.

This is a great opportunity to invite new people to join your network, isn't it?

We've already started new translations. Volunteers are welcome !

Well, time to go back to work, so many projects are waiting for us...

Have fun!

Léa, Christophe, Christian

how can i go back to english?

it don't want it in german. please don't make the same mistake like flickr. the hole stuff with the censored pictures started with offering it in german. i don't want you to obey german laws. they don't work on the internet.

Team ipernitypro replies:
We obey to the French law, even if we propose the service in several languages. You can turn ipernity into English by simply clicking at the bottom of each ipernity page.

Dirkpro replies:
Just to let you know: In Germany according to law flickr is a “Service Provider”. They don’t have to censor (and you don’t have to, too *g*) anything. They only have to act, if they be informed by someone about something illegal.

I guess, in the German law, you are a service provider, too :)

Team ipernitypro replies:
We are located in France, so we obey French laws, even if the service is available in other countries. In France, indeed, we are not responsible of content published my members. But we must act upon complains concerning illegal content, and we must propose a system to protect minors.
