Outage today for 2 hours

Wednesday November 5, 2008 at 10:09AM

[EN] As some of you may have noticed, ipernity has been down for about two hours this morning. The outage was caused by an extraordinary load on one of our databases which caused a side effect on the whole website. We are now analysing the situation and going to take mesures against this problem for the future. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Christophe Ruellepro replies:
;) It's already the case, but what happened is that too many http server instances where waiting for the database. ipernity is growing and needs some little tweaks from time to time...

Seems like the same is happening again just at this moment? API is not working, search is not working.

Christophe Ruellepro replies:
Yes sometimes it's very slow. doc.search allows some very complex search queries. We're working on a more stable search method at the moment.
