Just received my 5D the other day.

Wow, that's a new dimension, really.

Endlich ist es wieder soweit: die Kamerabörse in Solms öffnet ihre Türen für diesen Herbst.

OK, I have sent back the test lens some days ago. This (Sigma 150-500 OS) is a pretty nice lens that offers a very good IQ. But I would not buy it, because it's really huge. Too big for me and my favourite kind of shooting.

I guess I have to accept that long teles are not for me. ;)

I just try to set up a wiki using this free wiki website.

The problem is that you can admin only 5 authors/users in the free version. And wikidot only tells you after you have started a wiki. I feel kind of fooled, now. And exactly because of that I am not going to upgrade to a paid membership. This is no good style...

Next week I should get a Sigma 150-500 OS for testing reasons. I'm really excited to see if it is any good.

Last weekend I met a couple of photo-friends in my local town. That was such a nice event. I wish I had time to do that more often...

OK, OK, I will have to do some serious home office work, but still...

Thank God! Only one and a half week to go. I am in desperate need for holidays...

Yep, I'm back. Berlin is a fantastic city, much "better" than I had imagined. So much has changed.

I will definitely go back there soon.

Need to pack my things, will be on a classtrip with my year 10 in Berlin for a week.

All corrections done for this term!

Well, almost... I will get two more tests tomorrow, but that's only two.

Feels good to be so close to the finish line.

Only 15 tests left to emend. The first glimpse of the light at the end is just visible...

Went to school today at 7.45 am, came home at 1.00 pm and then managed to correct 16 tests in the afternoon (a kind of record), before I had to stop, completey knackered.

Now, my cold beer is waiting.

Sunday night, the correcting phase is finished. Let's start to read the text for tomorrow's oral exams. I need to find some questions that I can help the student with, just in case...

On Tuesday I will get the next pack of tests that I will have to correct until Friday before I will go to Berlin on a class trip with my year 10.

The next one who says that teachers are lazy and have a well-paid half-time job will end up in hospital, I guess...

It's Saturday, but I still have to correct a bunch of tests.

Well... after a nice breakfast, I am back at my desk.

It's ten to ten at night and I feel too tired to go on with my corrections.

Wouldn't be fair to the students. Correcting when you're tired feels a bit like driving when you're drunk - you believe that you still can do it, but you will end up in a mess if you try it..

So, I better stop now and continue tomorrow.
